We as humans are often scared of the future, death, the unknown- but I feel like there's magic in that.

An abandoned building wouldn't be thrilling if you didn't believe in ghosts. A conversation wouldn't spark interest if you could read someone's mind. The idea of myths and supernatural existence makes everything far more exciting. Once you lose that curiosity, the world becomes mundane, so why does it need to be scary? Why can't it instead, be beautiful?​​​

My name is Lucilia Rose, I am the artist behind Kryptik.

For years since graduating university I felt lost, I had no support or game plan. I applied to a plethora of jobs in the creative industry, even roles that I didn't truly desire. It made me question if I was even an artist anymore after so many rejections, something that I had identified myself as since a child.

The questions turned into demotivation, it got to the point where most of the people I surrounded myself with, didn't even know that was my passion or had even seen any of my work.

So through this dysphoria I conducted a plan, I ran through my list of names for a brand that had circled in my notes for years but never came to be, none of which clicked. Until I realised one of my favourite words at the time,"Cryptic". I would use it for things I didn't understand or how I described other people. for once, it just felt right. So I bought a couple domains, started streaming my art and uploading content where I could- and now I'm finally here.

I've combined my love for fashion, Alternative and geek culture into a platform that I can proudly share.

I can't wait to show what mental ideas I can breathe into existence, Whether people are watching or not, So stay tuned!!
